DR. VIJAY SURLIKAR

Dr. Vijay’s fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus (DM) laid the foundation and helped expand his clinical knowledge for managing patients, their complications and special populations like paediatric pregnancy and Elderly. He worked with renowned Diabetes and Endocrinologists to effectively apply the DM knowledge in his professional work. In addition, he has been actively involved in practical aspects like prevention and management of diabetic patients. Dr. Vijay’s work experience spreads across boundaries and encompasses service at the at the National Health Services, United Kingdom (NHS, UK)

MEGHANA SURLIKAR

Dietician, M.Sc. Nutrition Diploma Counselling (TISS)

Meghana Surlikar has over 15 years of nutritional consultation experience and specializes in diabetes and associated lifestyle and metabolic issues. She has treated over 3,000 patients with Diabetes, Cholesterol issues, fatty liver, hypertension (blood pressure), HIV, tuberculosis and, heart diseases and Cancer and gastrointestinal disorders. Meghana initiated a nutrition assessment study at the Tata Cancer Hospital for children suffering from cancer by modifying and using an international scale of assessment by called Subjective Global Assessment for children. Meghana has been , a guest speaker at Art of Living and the BARC yoga centre , is a certified councellor from TISS and a former member of the Health Professions Council UK and The National Nutrition Society UK. She is a member of The Indian Dietetic Association.
